Shurflo Piranha 1100 GPH 12V Livewell Pump

Description

The Shurflo Piranha 1100 GPH 12V Livewell Pump is designed to move water for compatible livewell, baitwell, aeration, or ballast systems aboard boats. Its marine pump construction supports repeated water-transfer cycles while keeping the installation compact enough for crowded plumbing and machinery spaces.

Model-specific features such as magnetic drive, anti-airlock protection, removable cartridges, or dual-port connections help the pump address common livewell and ballast installation challenges. Correct hose sizing and an unrestricted water source remain important because excessive restriction can reduce actual flow.

Confirm electrical supply, circuit protection, intake arrangement, hose sizes, tank capacity, mounting position, and service access before installation. Keep intake plumbing clear, avoid unnecessary restrictions, and test the complete system for leaks and reliable flow before depending on it for bait, livewell, aeration, or ballast operation.
