TACO’s Rub Rail-mounted LED navigation lights are built with a real design goal in mind: sleek, low-profile fixtures that keep the deck open and give you an unobstructed view rather than a bulky light sticking up where it catches your eye or a line. They’ve become popular on bay boats specifically because of that clean, out-of-the-way profile.

Meeting both ABYC and USCG requirements for sail and power vessels alike, these lights carry an IP68 water-resistant rating and are built to run reliably for years without upkeep. They’re designed for boats up to 30 feet and fit the popular 3/4-inch insert profiles used across a lot of rub rail systems.

This item ships as a special order, one pair per purchase, with the port side running a 3-watt red bulb and the starboard side a 2-watt green one, matching the brightness of a 10-watt incandescent while drawing far less power. That low-profile mounting also opens up a full 120 degrees of clear sightline, and the low-voltage 12-14VDC design keeps power draw modest.

Heat gets pulled away through an anodized aluminum heat sink, and the fixture itself sits in a heavy-gauge polished stainless joiner cover that looks finished rather than bolted on. You’ll need a 1-inch 8 stainless fastener to install it, not included, and the box comes with full instructions. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
