Description

The Scanstrut DS40-S Stainless Steel Vertical Cable Seal provides IP68 waterproof cable routing for larger antenna, navigation-light, and marine electronics cables. It fits cable diameters from 12 to 15mm and accepts connectors up to 40mm in diameter, making it useful for larger pre-terminated installations.

The stainless-steel dome-shaped housing provides strong impact resistance while creating an additional water shield over the cable entry. Each unit includes both pre-drilled and blank inner seals, and the split-seal design allows many cables to be installed without removing attached connectors.

The vertical seal is supplied with mounting hardware and installation instructions for a complete installation. For larger cable penetrations where corrosion resistance, clean appearance, and dependable waterproofing are priorities, the DS40-S provides a robust marine-grade solution.
