Description

The Perko Heavy Duty Battery Selector Switch provides dependable battery selection and main-power control for marine electrical systems operating from 6 to 32 volts. Its polycarbonate body and brass terminals are designed for demanding onboard use, while ignition-protected construction makes it suitable for marine installations.

The switch is rated for 250 amps continuous and 360 amps intermittent for five minutes, giving it the capacity needed for many starting and house-battery applications. A 5/16-inch terminal stud size supports secure heavy-cable connections.

When used with non-unitized alternators, the switch interrupts alternator field current if it is turned off while the engine is running, helping reduce the possibility of alternator damage.
