Description

The Morakniv Basic 511 in green is an uncomplicated work knife with a 3.5-inch carbon steel blade, polypropylene handle, and molded belt sheath. At about 8.125 inches overall, it is sized for everyday cutting, trimming, carving, and general shop or outdoor chores without becoming cumbersome.

The plain carbon steel edge is easy to sharpen and is well suited to repeated utility work. Because carbon steel can develop surface oxidation if it is left wet, wiping the blade clean and dry after use is a sensible part of normal maintenance.

The green polypropylene handle is easy to spot and does not require the care of a natural wood grip. A black molded polymer belt sheath is included, and its drain hole gives moisture and debris a path out instead of trapping it around the blade after wet or dirty work.
