Description

The Marinco PowerCord Plus cordset is built with marine-grade materials for repeated shore power use in wet, corrosive dockside environments. Watertight molded plug and connector ends protect the cable terminations, while the heavy-duty flexible marine cable is designed to remain manageable when routing, coiling, and storing the cord aboard the boat.

Nickel-plated electrical contacts help resist corrosion, and the boat-side connector includes a molded-in LED power indicator. When the light is illuminated, the user has an immediate visual confirmation that shore power has reached the connector before checking breakers or equipment farther downstream. Marinco’s Contour Grip shapes both ends to fit the hand, and the Thumbprint Locator helps align the blades by indicating the correct orientation before insertion.

A standard threaded ring supports connection to ordinary threaded marine inlets. When used with compatible Marinco inlets, the Easy Lock system secures the cordset with just one-eighth of a turn, using locking tabs that engage slots built into the inlet.
