Description

The Egis 250A Surface Mount 87 Series Circuit Breaker provides automatic short-circuit and overload protection together with manual On/Off switching for high-current DC systems. It can be mounted close to a battery bank or major load, giving installers both overcurrent protection and a convenient local isolation point in one device.

The breaker is rated for 250A continuous current and up to 48V DC, supporting 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V applications. High interrupt ratings of 5,000A at 14V DC and 3,000A at 28V DC make it suitable for battery systems with significant available fault current.
