Description

The Blue Sea 7649003 Mini Add-A-Battery Kit provides a compact two-bank battery-management solution for smaller boats. It is designed to keep the engine-start battery isolated from house loads that can discharge it, while still allowing both batteries to receive charge automatically from a single alternator or charger.

The system combines an m-Series Dual Circuit Plus battery switch with a Mini Automatic Charging Relay. During normal operation, the switch keeps the starting and house circuits separated so domestic loads do not drain the reserve needed for engine starting. If emergency assistance is required, the battery banks can be combined for additional cranking support.

The Mini ACR senses charging voltage and automatically connects the banks when charging is available, then separates them again when charging stops. That removes much of the manual switching required by a traditional selector setup. This SKU is the boxed version of the Mini Add-A-Battery kit.
