Description

The Victron SmartShunt 300A is a compact battery monitor that uses a phone, tablet, or compatible GX device as the display. Bluetooth connects directly to the VictronConnect app, allowing users to view state of charge, time remaining, current flow, historical information, and other battery parameters without installing a separate panel-mounted gauge.

The 300A current range is well suited to smaller and mid-size marine, RV, and off-grid battery systems where a 500A or 1000A shunt would provide more capacity than the installation requires. VE.Direct communication allows the SmartShunt to connect to a compatible GX device for centralized monitoring alongside other Victron equipment.

An auxiliary connection can be configured for second-battery voltage, midpoint-voltage monitoring, or temperature sensing with compatible accessories. This makes the SmartShunt useful for more than simple amp-hour counting while keeping the wiring and dashboard footprint minimal.
