Description

The Victron SmartShunt 2000A/50mV is a high-current battery monitor that eliminates the need for a dedicated panel display by using a phone, tablet, or compatible GX device as the user interface. Bluetooth connectivity links directly to the VictronConnect app, where users can view state of charge, time remaining, current flow, historical data, and other battery information without adding another gauge to the dashboard.

The 2000A measurement range is intended for very large DC systems such as high-capacity inverter banks, propulsion-support batteries, commercial electrical systems, and installations with substantial alternator or charger output. A VE.Direct port allows the SmartShunt to connect to a GX device for centralized monitoring, while the auxiliary input can be configured for second-battery voltage, midpoint-voltage monitoring, or temperature sensing when used with compatible equipment.

Because the sensing electronics are integrated at the shunt, the installation can remain compact and uncluttered while still providing detailed battery data. VictronConnect also supports live status information and configuration directly over Bluetooth.
