Victron Orion-TR 16A Isolated DC-DC Converter, 48-24V

Description

The Victron Orion-TR 48/24-16A Isolated DC-DC Converter provides regulated 24V power from a 48V source while maintaining galvanic isolation between the two sides of the electrical system. It is a practical solution for 48V battery banks that still need to operate conventional 24V electronics, control systems, lighting, pumps, or other auxiliary loads.

The converter accepts 40-70V input and provides an adjustable 20-30V output with a nominal setting of 24.2V. Continuous output is 16A at 40°C, with approximately 430W output available at 25°C and 380W at 40°C. Short-term output reaches 25A, while the converter also includes short-circuit protection.

A remote on/off terminal allows control from a low-power switch or system signal. Multiple units can be paralleled to increase total available current. Thermal protection reduces output under high ambient temperature, and IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are installed facing downward.

The input, output, and case are galvanically isolated to 200V DC.
