Description

The Victron Argo FET 100A 2-Battery Isolator allows one alternator or single-output battery charger to charge two separate batteries without electrically tying the banks together. This helps preserve starting reserve while still allowing an accessory or house battery to recharge whenever the primary charging source is active.

FET technology keeps voltage loss extremely low compared with traditional diode isolators. The voltage drop is less than 0.02V at low current and averages approximately 0.1V at higher current, helping more of the alternator’s charging voltage reach the batteries and reducing the likelihood of chronic undercharging caused by isolation losses.

The 100A rating makes this model suitable for moderate-output marine charging systems. When the charging source is removed, the battery banks remain isolated so house loads cannot automatically draw energy from the starting battery.
