The smallest member of Spyderco’s Value Folder family of knives, the Ambitious scales the platform of the best-selling Tenacious down to a more compact size with a UK friendly sub-2.5-inch blade. Following in the footsteps of its bigger brothers, the Ambitious Lightweight further enhances the design with injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales. They trim its weight by almost seven percent compared to the version with G-10 scales and offer the added grip security of the signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern.

All other features are consistent with the original version of this model, including a full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, full, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a four-position pocket clip, and a sturdy LinerLock mechanism. The Ambitious Lightweight has a satin-finished blade and brightly finished handle hardware with a PlainEdge blade.
