Description

The Springfield Explorer fixed-height locking pedestal provides a rigid marine seat support for compatible 2-3/8-inch seating hardware. Its anodized aluminum post and 9-inch round satin-anodized base combine strength with corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, compact installation at the helm or fishing position.

A fixed-height pedestal keeps the seating position consistent and eliminates a height-adjustment mechanism where the desired elevation is already known. The pedestal is intended for use with a compatible Trac-Lock slide or swivel, allowing the upper seat hardware to be selected around the movement required by the application.

Confirm pedestal height, 2-3/8-inch compatibility, seat-mount selection, deck strength, base clearance, and fastener access before installation. Secure the round base to a properly supported surface with suitable corrosion-resistant hardware, then verify the complete seat assembly is stable and all locking components engage before operating the boat.
