The SHF is Spartan Blades’ flagship folder – winner of the 2016 BLADE Show American Made Knife of the Year and designed by Bill Harsey Jr., one of the most respected production knife designers working today. This Templar Special Edition carries laser-engraved Templar cross and medieval motifs across the titanium scales, drawing on the imagery of the Knights Templar. The platform itself is unchanged: 10.2cm CPM MagnaCut blade with Spartan’s double deep cryogenic heat treatment, flat-ground spear point, 6AL-4V titanium frame lock, dual thumb studs for ambidextrous opening, and a reversible clip. At 167g it has real presence in the hand – a folder that earns the collection it ends up in.
