Railroad HS-4415 Bayonet Style Knife

Description

The Railroad HS-4415 Bayonet Style Knife is a substantial Rite Edge fixed blade, a 6.5-inch stainless blade with full tang construction, set in a black wood handle.

Full tang construction carries that strength the entire length of the handle. At 6.5 inches, this is one of the larger blades in the railroad-inspired lineup, with a slim, elongated profile that echoes historic bayonet-style blades purely as a nod to that era’s design, not as any kind of functional attachment. Black wood carries that rustic look through the whole handle.

Rite Edge built this piece for collectors who want a distinctive, display-worthy fixed blade. Explore more Specialty Knives.

• Substantial 6.5-inch blade with a distinctive slim profile
• Full tang construction throughout
• Black wood handle for a rustic look
• An eye-catching piece for a knife collection

Its unusual, elongated silhouette makes it stand out on a display shelf next to more conventionally shaped fixed blades. Its unusual length and shape make it a piece that draws a second look from anyone browsing a collection, standing apart from the shorter utility and skinning blades in the rest of this lineup. That contrast is exactly what makes it worth adding alongside more conventional pieces. That length also makes it a reasonable stand-in for a small machete on lighter camp tasks, even though it’s really built as a display and collector’s piece first.
