Description

The Prandi Segurin Traditional Hatchet 400g is a compact, old-school tool made in Italy by Prandi, following patterns that pre-date marketing departments by quite some margin. The Segurin-style head is slim and well balanced, giving good control for light chopping, kindling and general camp jobs where accuracy matters more than weight.

The carbon steel head is drop forged and finished for use rather than show, making it easy to sharpen and simple to maintain over time. It’s paired with a straight-grain wooden handle chosen for durability and comfort in the hand, soaking up shock without feeling spongy.

A sensible, lightweight hatchet for those who value tradition and practicality in equal measure.
