The Prandi German Type Hatchet 1000g is a proper bit of traditional kit, made in Italy by Prandi using long-established forging methods. The German pattern head offers a broad cutting edge that bites cleanly into wood, making it well suited to camp chores, kindling and general outdoor use.

The carbon steel head is drop forged and finished for work rather than display, sharpening easily and improving with use. It’s fitted with a hickory handle, selected for its excellent shock absorption and resilience – tough, springy and far more forgiving over longer sessions. 

A solid, no-frills hatchet that does exactly what it should, and does it well.
