The Lectrotab 12V Heavy Duty Trim Tab Actuator – 6-Ft is a self-contained 12-volt electric actuator for compatible Lectrotab trim tab systems. It converts helm commands into precise trim-plane movement without a hydraulic pump or fluid lines, making it useful for replacement, repair, or a properly matched custom installation.

The permanently sealed non-metallic housing is designed to resist corrosion and long-term exposure above and below the waterline. Internal pressure equalization and a brake system help maintain accurate positioning and prevent unwanted tab movement while the boat is underway or backing down. The reinforced upper mounting boss and 12-gauge stainless upper bracket are intended for higher-speed or rough-condition applications.

A factory-attached 6-foot cable gives the installer a defined wiring run from the transom toward the boat’s electrical and control components. Lectrotab load-tests its actuators for high push force, but system performance still depends on correct plane sizing, mounting geometry, voltage, wiring, and control compatibility.
