Description

The Klaken J397 has a 1.65-inch carbon steel blade with a red aluminum handle and a liner lock.

At 1.65 inches the blade is very short by design. Utility work means tape, film, banding and cardboard, none of which need depth, and a short edge is much easier to keep out of the product underneath. Carbon steel takes a fine edge and resharpens with little effort, which suits a knife whose edge is worn down by abrasive packaging rather than heavy cutting.

Red makes the knife findable on a cluttered bench or in a van, and aluminum keeps the handle rigid without adding weight to something carried in an apron all day. Explore more Work and Utility Linerlocks.
