Description

The Icom IC-M510BB Black Box VHF Radio with AIS is built for boats that want AIS receive capability without giving up precious helm space to a full-size fixed mount radio.

A black CommandMic handles all radio operations, DSC included, while the actual RF unit tucks completely out of sight, installed up to 60 feet away using two OPC-1541 cables. For boats needing more than one comms station, up to two additional CommandMics can extend communication points around the boat, cockpit, flybridge, and tower all covered from the same base unit, with intercom function connecting stations to each other.

Compare with our other fixed mount VHF radios.

  • Black box RF unit installs out of sight, up to 60′ from the mic
