Description

The Gatco Ultimate Finishing Hone is a 1,200-grit sharpening stone intended for the final polishing stage after an edge has already been established with coarser abrasives. Gatco classifies the surface as extra-extra fine, making it the finishing step in a progressive sharpening routine rather than a stone for heavy metal removal.

The 1,200-grit surface is designed to produce a mirror polish on all steels. A blue ABS handle gives you a dedicated grip while keeping your fingers away from the sharpening surface during controlled finishing strokes.
