Daiwa Regal LT Spinning Reel 6.2:1 Lightweight Performance

Description

The Daiwa Regal LT 1000D combines a light spinning-reel platform with a 6.2:1 gear ratio and a seven-bearing system made up of six ball bearings plus one roller bearing. It retrieves 30.5 in of line per turn and provides up to 11 lb of drag, giving the compact reel a relatively quick retrieve without sacrificing useful drag capacity.

Line capacity is 250 yd of 4 lb or 160 yd of 6 lb monofilament. With braid, the spool holds 320 yd of 6 lb or 200 yd of 8 lb line. Daiwa’s Long Cast ABS spool design handles line storage and release, while the Air Rotor design distributes the rotating section around the spool.

The body is made from Daiwa’s Zaion V material, keeping the Regal LT focused on lightweight construction. Advanced Tournament Drag manages drag pressure during the fight, tying the reel’s 11 lb maximum drag into the same LT package as the Air Rotor, Zaion V body, and Long Cast ABS spool.
