Blue Sea 8386 AC 30A 4-Pole Rotary Switch Panel

Description

The Blue Sea 8386 AC Rotary Switch Panel is designed for boats that need to select between multiple AC sources while feeding two separate 120V load groups. Its four-pole rotary switch can transfer between two 120V shore power sources and one 240V source, giving the operator a clear mechanical method of choosing the active supply when circuit protection is provided elsewhere in the system.

Blue Sea uses its heavy-duty industrial-rated 6337 selector switch in the panel. Red reverse-polarity LEDs provide a warning when an incoming AC source is incorrectly wired, while green power-available indicators show which sources are energized before a transfer is made. The rotary layout provides an intuitive one-hand operating sequence with an Off position between source selections.

The panel face is made from heavy aluminum alloy with a two-part polyurethane finish for long-term corrosion resistance in marine environments. Because this assembly handles source selection rather than over-current protection, correctly sized main breakers and other required protective devices must remain part of the overall AC system design.
