Blue Sea 4308 WeatherDeck 8 Position Fuse Panel

Description

The Blue Sea Systems 4308 is a WeatherDeck 8 position fuse panel in gray, using ATO/ATC fuses rather than breakers for circuit protection. Each circuit is rated 15A at 12V DC with a cumulative panel rating of 100A, and it measures 7.7 inches tall by 3.88 wide by 2.5 deep.

The label LEDs are bicoloured, and this is the feature that earns the panel its keep. Red means the circuit is off, green means it is on, and no colour at all means the fuse has blown. You diagnose a dead circuit by looking at it rather than by pulling fuses one at a time. If nothing lights anywhere, the panel itself has lost power.

The panel front is rated IP67 when mounted with its watertight gasket, protected against immersion to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Label backlighting has an independent circuit for remote switching and dimming, and the panel can be mounted in four orientations. It ships with eight 4150 WeatherDeck SPST ON-OFF toggle switches, eight 4138 black switch boots, eight 5242 15 amp ATO/ATC fuses and the 4215 waterproof DC label kit with 30 labels.
