Beckson 5 x 12 Inch Smoke Replacement Portlight Lens

Description

The Beckson 5 x 12 inch smoke replacement portlight lens restores the glazing in a compatible Beckson portlight without replacing the entire assembly. The smoke tint reduces direct glare while retaining the finished appearance and light-transmitting function expected from the original portlight.

Replacing only the lens is practical when the surrounding frame remains serviceable but the original glazing has become damaged, crazed, or otherwise unsuitable. Correct dimensions and portlight-series compatibility are important because marine portlight lenses must match specific frames and sealing surfaces.

Confirm the exact Beckson portlight model, lens dimensions, hinge or latch arrangement, and gasket condition before ordering. During installation, clean the sealing surfaces and inspect the gasket and hardware so the replacement lens can close evenly and maintain the intended weather seal.

• The lens provides a focused repair when the existing portlight remains serviceable.
• The darker glazing moderates direct light.
• A matched replacement avoids rebuilding the opening.
• Correct dimensions and a sound gasket help the lens close evenly.
