Description

The Ancor Red/Black 10/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable combines two marine-grade tinned copper conductors in one flexible cable for DC circuits aboard boats. The red and black conductors simplify polarity identification while the flat profile helps the cable route neatly along panels, bulkheads, and confined spaces.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 stranding helps resist fatigue from vibration and repeated flexing, while the premium vinyl insulation protects the conductors against salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V service, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet and remains flexible in extreme cold. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements. For long DC wiring runs such as lighting, pumps, electronics, and accessory circuits, this 400-foot spool provides two 10 AWG conductors in one durable flat cable.
