Description

The Ancor Green 8 AWG Battery Cable provides marine-grade wiring for grounding and bonding circuits where green conductor identification is appropriate. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the wire from corrosion and electrolysis in wet, salty, and vibration-prone environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the cable easier to route through machinery spaces, electrical panels, and other confined areas while helping it resist fatigue from repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation stays flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
