The Ancor Black 4/0 AWG Battery Cable is built for extremely high-current marine DC circuits such as large battery banks, powerful inverters, charging systems, and main distribution feeds. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor against corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes this very large conductor easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it resist vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
