The Ancor Black 2 AWG Tinned Battery Cable is designed for high-current negative battery connections, charging circuits, inverter feeds, and power-distribution wiring aboard boats. Tinned copper stranding helps resist corrosion and electrolysis in damp and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the cable easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it tolerate vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that the cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
